Privacy Policy

Dev Gym is published by Greenvine Cloud LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the App stores, where it is kept and what is sent to us. It applies to Dev Gym on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, and to the devgym.app Website.

Dev Gym is available in the United States and other regions outside the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland.

Training Profile

Your training split, workout and rep history, written answers, Skill Map, saved Daily Reads and settings.

Apple’s iCloud service, including the private database tied to your Apple Account.

3.1 On your device

The App keeps your Training Profile on each device you use. There is no Dev Gym account, and we can’t see your Training Profile.

3.2 In your iCloud

If iCloud Sync is on, your Training Profile syncs through your private iCloud database, protected by your Apple Account, at no extra cost. It includes:

• Workout and rep history
• Your written answers
• Skill Map state and spaced-review schedule
• Training split and settings
• Saved Daily Reads

We have no access to your iCloud data.

3.3 On devgym.app

The Website has no sign-in for visitors and sets no cookies for them. It counts page views and a few taps, such as on App Store links, without cookies and without identifying you. Each view records the page’s address without its query string, the page that linked to it, an approximate location (country, region and city) and the type of device and browser. Our editors sign in to a private editorial area, which sets one strictly necessary session cookie for them only.

3.4 Content we publish

The App downloads Daily Reads, What’s New packages and other editorial content from our servers. These requests carry nothing about you or your Training Profile.

The optional coach grades your written answers on your device, using Apple’s on-device models. Your answers are not sent to us or to any third-party AI service.

The App sends anonymous usage analytics and crash reports so we can fix bugs and see which features are used. They contain no name, email address or Training Profile content, and they aren’t linked to your Apple Account. They use a random identifier for your installation of the App, never your Apple Account. Firebase Analytics derives an approximate region from the IP address it receives the analytics from. If an Apple Ads campaign led to your install, the App learns that from Apple once, without any identifier for you or your device, and reports only whether the install came from Apple Ads, was organic or is unknown.

We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we don’t sell your data or use it to target ads.

These providers receive the reports, and keep them for:

• Firebase Analytics (Google): App usage events and user-level data, including the approximate region and how the App was installed, for 14 months.
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google): App crash reports, for 90 days.
• Sentry: error reports from the App and the Website, for 90 days. Neither the App’s nor the Website’s reports store an IP address.
• Vercel Web Analytics: the Website’s page views and taps, for the 12-month reporting window of our Vercel plan (Vercel may keep them longer).
• Vercel request logs: the Website’s hosting logs (IP address, browser and page requested), for 1 day.

1. Tips under Support Dev Gym are optional, one-time in-app purchases, sold and processed by Apple. They unlock nothing.
2. The App keeps no purchase record of its own beyond what Apple’s StoreKit needs to complete the purchase. We never receive your name or payment details.
3. When a tip goes through, the App may send one anonymous analytics event that records only the tip’s size: small, medium or large. It never includes the price, the transaction ID, your Apple Account or anything that identifies you.
4. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Dev Gym is made for developers and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

• Turn iCloud Sync on or off in Dev Gym’s settings.
• Delete your training data with Delete All Training Data in Dev Gym’s settings. It deletes your Skill Map, reps, PRs, saved Daily Reads and history on your device and in iCloud. Your settings stay.
• Turn the on-device coach and 60/60 notifications on or off at any time.
• We don’t send marketing email.

We’ll post any change on this page with its new effective date, and say there when a change is material.
